In the academic year 2014 – 15 Literary Association conducted various activities to help develop love for the language among students in all the three languages viz. English, Hindi and Marathi and if possible contribute the development of the languages as languages are like river, continuously flowing adding, dropping, twisting, turning, in short enriching them.
The aim was to make students confident, self reliant and help excel incommunication since the key word of the corporate world today is communication.
The association organized a literary week from 28th July 2014 to 4th August 2014. Essay, debate, extempore, A. D. Shroff memorial elocution competition were conducted in all the three languages during this week. Association tried to introduce a new concept of Chatting corner from this year. Controversial topics were given to students to express their views and develop an insight in subjects of national interest. It was a great success.
Literary Association, Marathi Wangmay Mandal and Hindi Sahitya Mandaltogether organized Poetry reading, Oral book review, Joke telling and story competition in second half of academic year 2014 – 15.
Two students were selected and sent to participate in intercollegiate elocution competition conducted by Gandhi Smarak Nidhi and Mani Bhavan Sangrahalaya.
Literary Association in collaboration with Aditya Institute of Management conducted a quiz competition for final year students so that they can chalk out their future plan.
