College Library is situated in the 4th floor of the College building covering 3800 sq.ft. with reading room capacity of 150 students

1. Issue of books
Textbooks - Will be issued against your library card for home reading
Reference Books- Will be issued only for current reading which should be returned the same day
Fiction- will be issued to students against their card for home reading
Periodicals- Will be issued for current reading which should be returned the same day
Back Volume of Journals- Previous 5 years journals are bound and indexed, which can be issued for current reading
2. Reading Room
Library services is open to all current year students
Ex-Students Can avail only the reading room of the library by paying nominal annual membership fees
3. Book Bank Facility
College Library Book bank facility extended to economically weak students of B.Com section(Annual income of the family below Rs.3, 00,000) Set of books will be issued for that semester to the students selected by Library Committee.

4. Newspaper Clippings
Staff members mark articles relevant to their subject, which are displayed on the library notice board.
5. Reference Services
Help the students with different library materials available.
6. Indexing service
Offers computerized search service.
7. New Arrival Display
List of new books purchased are displayed on the library notice board and also uploaded on the Library Blog.
8. Internet Facility
Eight computers are allotted to students to access internet for their academic needs.
9. Printout Facility
Printout facility available to students at concessional rate
10. I-Card & Library Card
I-card and Library cards are issued from the library
11. Question Paper
Previous years question papers available in the Library
Latest syllabus available in the library and also made available on the college website.
13. Suggestion Box
Students are given liberty to suggest books and Library Committee after scrutiny approves the same.
14. Scholar Card
Issue scholar card in addition to their library cards to the rank holders of each class.
15. Information Literacy
Guiding students to use the technology, internet resources and e-resources
Computer with library software is kept at the entrance of the library for students to access the library catalogue and also WEB OPAC is available through the college website, library tab.
17. Advance Learners
Students studying for competitive exam and other exam can issue related reference for home reading by paying a refundable deposit.
18. Display of books on important days
Important days of History are marked and paid obeisance by displaying related collection of books available in the Library.
19. College Website
All the information relating to the library is available in the library tab of the college website. WEBOPAC can be accessed to know the availability of the resources in the library.
20. Electronic counter
Laptop, LCD and its accessories, projection screen, mike, amplifier, speaker, camera are issued to the staff on lecture basis or for college events.
21. Photo Gallery
Folder is maintained of all the photographs of activities held in the college.
Under these schemes the Library Committee selected economically weak students from B.Com Degree section. They are given full sets of text books for both the Semesters. Students are required the return the books in good condition immediately after the term end exam.
As a Part of a User Education an Classroom Orientation Program was organized for students of first year classes â€“aided & self-financing. Through Power point presentation the Librarian acquaints them with the functioning of the library.
Earn while you Learn scheme:
Four students are selected to acquaint them to the functioning of the Library. They help in shelving, sorting, stock taking etc. Students are employed for a month in the month of May
Display information relating to different courses for students to make them aware of different career fields. Brochure or Announcements received from various institutes are displayed.
Sale of withdrawal book:
Sale of withdrawal book and Magazines held in the start of the academic year. Textbooks are sold at Rs.10, Reference books at Rs.15 and Magazines at Rs.5 each.
Weekly written Quiz:
After the first year students join in Every Monday 10 multiple choice questions are displayed on the library notice board. Students write the answer and drop it in the box provided. Along with the new set of questions, previous questions, answer and winners are also displayed. Students winning the maximum number of quiz will be awarded in the Annual prize distribution function.
Preliminary written quiz:
Interested students appeared for the quiz in the classroom. Top three students from each class FYBCom, SYBcom, TYBCom, BMS, BSc.IT, BI, AF, FM, BMM, M.Com are selected for the final round of quiz.
The Annual Library Quiz:
The Annual Library Quiz is held in the bedrock hall. The quiz Masters will ask question to each team and the questions are displayed on the projection screen also. There are 5 to 6 rounds. The winning teams get prize in the prize distribution function.
Book Review Competition:
Students can review books in English, Marathi, Tamil or Malayalam. Staff members are generally the Judge for the competition. The winning students are awarded in the Annual prize distribution function.
Book Exhibition is held along with School and Junior College. Publishers/Distributors take part in the exhibition by displaying wide range of books on various subjects. The exhibition caters to students from K.G. to P.G. The exhibition is open to the general public also.
During the Annual Prize distribution function, prize winners â€“ academic and co-curricular winners are given coupons with which they could select books of their choice from the book exhibition. If students had any particular choice of books not displayed in the exhibition, the distributors arrange to make the books available.
Saraswati pooja is held during Dushera in the Saraswati temple situated in the library reading hall. Students and staff take the blessing of goddess Saraswati.
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BOOK BORROWED ON YOUR CARD.
YOUR LIBRARY CARD IS NOT TRANFERBLE. BOOK WILL BE ISSUED ONLY AGAINST THE LIBRARY CARD OF THE PERSON RECEIVING THE BOOK.
BOOKS WILL BE ISUUED FOR ONE WEEK FOR B.COM STUDENTS(AIDED)AND 3 DAYS FOR PROFESSIONAL COURSE STUDENTS(UNAIDED)
PERIODICALS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CURRENT READING WHICH SHOULD BE RETURNED THE SAME DAY
BOOKS WILL BE ISSUED AS PER THE TIME TABLE ONLY. STUDENTS CAN ISSUE BOOKS FOR CURRENT READING ON ALL DAYS DURING THE WORKING HOURS OF THE LIBRARY.
PREVIOUS YEARS QUESTIOND PAPERS CAN BE ISSUED FOR CURRENT READING
STUDENTS SHOULD CHECK THE BOOKS WHILE ISSUING AND BRING TO THE NOTICE OF THE LIBRARY STAFF IF ANY DAMAGE, FAILING TO WHICH THE STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE OF THE BOOK SUBSEQUENTLY DISCOVERED
BOOKS/PERIODICALS DAMAGED OR LOST MUST BE REPLACED OR PAY THE COST OF THE BOOK LOST.
FINE OF RE 1/- PER DAY WILL BE CHARGED IF THE BOOK IS NOT RETURNED WITH IN THE DUE DATE.
FINE OF RS 50 /- PER DAY WILL BE CHARGED IF THE CURRENT READING BOOK IS NOT RETURNED THE SAME DAY.
REFERENCE BOOKS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR HOME READING.
DUPLICATE I-CARD AND LIBRARY CARD WILL BE ISSUED IN THE LIBRARY AFTER SCRUTINY,ON PAYMENT OF RS 100 /-
MOBILE PHONE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE LIBRARY, IF FOUND WILL BE CONFESCATED.
SILENCE SHOULDE BE MAINTAINED IN THE LIBRARY
RESULT WILL BE GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS ONLY IF THEY HAVERETURNED ALL THE LIBRARY BOOKS / BOOK BANK BOOKS.
