Major Payodhi Chaturvedi is 2009 batch pass out from Vivek College of Commerce. She was always keen on joining the Indian Armed Forces. Post her graduation she appeared for the combined defence services examination and on clearing that with a high merit she joined the Officers Training Academy, Chennai in 2012. After one year of rigorous training at the Academy she got commissioned into the Army Ordnance Corps as a Lieutenant in Sept 2013.
As an officer of the Army Ordnance Corps she is responsible for providing Logistic support under her Area of responsibility.
Presently she is a Major serving in Jalandhar, Punjab. She is married to an Army officer Maj Prashant Bhardwaj and the couple is blessed with a daughter.
